Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jim Johnson Dies at 68

Long time Philly Eagles D coordinator has passed away at age 68 due to a cancer tumor in his spine. Being an Eagles fan I realize what a large loss this is for both Philly and the Eagles. Johnson was great at what he did. One of the best in NFL history. He is a vet of 22 years. He is widely called the top defensive mind in the NFL.

He is known for he very complex plays and schemes that always left opponents confused. He always put much pressure on opposing QB’s. His defensive units always ranked in the top of the NFL. Just last season the Eagles were 3rd overall in total D. From 00-08 his D’s were ranked 2nd in the NFL in sacks with 390! With him leading the Eagles D, they made the playoffs 7 times outta 10 years, with a grand total of 26 Pro Bowl selections. Amazing stats and an amazing coach.

“This whole Eagles-Andy Reid regime here that’s taken place wouldn’t have been possible without Jim,” says Andy Reid, who hired Johnson to be his defensive coordinator shortly after he got his first head coaching job with the Eagles back in 99.

Johnson had been treated for melanoma back in 2001. Then in Jan. he complained of pain in his back, which made him have to coach from the press box in the Eagles playoff win of the NY Giants and also in the loss to the AZ Cardinals, one game short of the Super Bowl.

He got an MRI just after the divisional playoff win vs the Giants on Jan 11th. Doctors realized something serious was wrong. Just after the loss to the Cards, the Eagles publicly announced that the cancer was back and Johnson would have to undergo more treatments.

He then returned to coach the Eagles 1st post NFL draft minicamp back in May, but it was from a motorized scooter. He said he did not know if he would return for this coming season.

One of Johnson’s top D players in Philly was now Denver safety Brian Dawkins, who played a total of 10 seasons under Johnson in Philly, said: “He was a tough coach who wasn’t afraid to let you know how he was feeling, but at the same time, he cared about us deeply.” Another loss for the Eagles this year was the signing of Dawkins to the Broncos rosters.

This is a big loss for the Eagles, hopefully our defense will still be strong in the following seasons and continue to be a top defense  unit throughout the league.

Rest In Peace to Jim Johnson.

NCAA Football 2010 (Xbox 360) - Review

So now NCAA Football 2010 is out and everyone is seeking full rosters because its annoying to play with just numbers. Plus it is pointless and a waste of money to pay for full rosters. I think that’s a bullshit scam when people sell the full named rosters. I haven’t bought the game yet, but once I do the full rosters will be in my EA Locker for free download. So don’t fall for it and pay for the rosters..

If your a Madden/NCAA Football game fan, from what I’ve read this game should be great and continue the legacy.  I am not going to say much until I have actually played this game fully. So for now I’ll post a video review that I found up for you guys to check out.

Here it is:

NFL Draft; Quick Review Round 1..

Just a quick look at some picks I liked thru tha draft today..

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009

So Lions take Matthew Strafford QB from Georgia with the 1st overall pick!
Now DET has fixed one offense issue. They have Kevin Smith at RB, Calvin at WR, and now actually have a QB! Plus they got a Tight End, which helps. I’m not a big Lions fan or anything, but would like to see them make a big turn around this season and get 8+ wins and shock everyone.

Crabtree is a 49er with tha 10th overall pick! I was hoping for either him or Maclin to go to tha 49ers and it happened. This should help improve their offense so a certain point. They still have issues.

And my team, Philly Eagles, take Maclin, from my home state! Many in STL are mad that tha Kirkwood to Mizzou player will not play in STL and want a trade. This beefs up tha Eagles offense greatly. Last year Jackson, now Maclin! So Jackson, Curtis, Avant, Baskett, Brown, we lost Lewis to NE, and now Maclin. That is a nice wide out set if they can stay healthy. McNabb should have a great season if injuries stay away..

And we picked up a RB from Pitt to help out Westbrook, LeSean McCoy. He gets to stay close to his college. This greatly takes weight from Westbrook. Brian is most of tha Philly offense and that is alot of work on him. This should give Philly a future star after Westbrook retires, which is not anytime soon hopefully, and give a great back up until then. He can run and catch, just like Westbrook..

Maclin..
NFL Pick Analysis: The Eagles make a move to grab a prolific play maker in Maclin. The former Tiger has the requisite skills to shine in the team’s West Coast offense, and he’s a threat to score from anywhere on the field. With DeSean Jackson and Maclin on the field at the same time, the Eagles have the ability to unveil an explosive passing attack that mixes a short passing game with a vertical attack.

LeSean McCoy
Pick Analysis:The Eagles get their running back of the future with the selection of McCoy. The former Panther has an exceptional combination of quickness, vision and elusiveness. In addition, McCoy is an outstanding receiver with terrific hands. With Brian Westbrook advancing in age, McCoy should serve as a solid complementary player next season.

Recap of Round 1:

1 Lions Matthew Stafford-QB (What they needed)
2 Rams Jason Smith-OT (Need 2 fill 4 Pace leaving)
3 Chiefs Tyson Jackson-DE (This beefs up their D)
4 Seahawks Aaron Curry-OLB (This should improve their D)
5 Jets Mark Sanchez-QB (Traded up & made a wise pick)
6 Bengals Andre Smith-OT (What they needed)
7 Raiders Darrius Heyward-Bey-WR (Shock 2 some, but not me)
8 Jaguars Eugene Monroe-OT (Help for their QB right here)
9 Packers B.J. Raji-DT (Good Pick)
10 49ers Michael Crabtree WR (One of my fav picks this year)
11 Bills Aaron Maybin-DE (Beefing up that D)
12 Broncos Knowshon Moreno-RB (Shocker 2 some, great pick)
13 Redskins Brian Orakpo-DE (Fill up for Taylor)
14 Saints Malcolm Jenkins-CB (Help for that weak D)
15 Texans Brian Cushing-OLB (Great Pick)
16 Chargers Larry English-DE (Nice Pick with this one)
17 Buccs Josh Freeman-QB (Great pick, he says he is tha best of tha 3)
18 Broncos Robert Ayers-LB (What they badly needed)
19 Eagles Jeremy Maclin-WR (YES, great pick!)
20 Lions Brandon Pettigrew-TE (More help 4 Strafford & that offense)
21 Browns Alex Mack-C (This was expected & was a need)
22 Vikings Percy Harvin-WR (Great pick for MIN)
23 Ravens Michael Oher-OT (Good pick)
24 Falcons Peria Jerry-DT (Smart pick)
25 Dolphins Vontae Davis-CB (Smart pick)
26 Packers Clay Matthews-OLB (What they needed)
27 Colts Donald Brown-RB (Good pick for Indy)
28 Bills Eric Wood-C (More help for that offense)
29 Giants Hakeem Nicks-WR (Smart pick, but angers me)
30 Titans Kenny Britt-WR (Very smart pick for Ten)
31 Cardinals Chris Wells-RB (Smart pick to give more offense power)
32 Steelers Evander Hood-DT (Good pick)

Overall this was a great round. Teams took care of needs and open spots. I just wish Nicks wouldn’t have went to tha Giants. Was hoping to see him in a Titans jersey or even Jags jersey, or even Eagles of course.

Of course I want Philly to do good. But I would like to see a turn around season from tha Lions, Buccs, 49ers, and Bills.

Is Favre Finally Done?

No offense, but I honestly hope so. I starting thinking of last offseason and do not want a damn repeat of that. Don’t take it wrong, he is a great football player and all. But I just don’t want to turn on tv, go to espn.com, yahoo sports, nfl.com, etc..and have to see every story include something about Favre.

Last offseason every other story seemed to be about Favre and wondering if he would or wouldn’t. He waited damn near all summer to decide it felt like. If he wants to retire and be with his family, please do so. But don’t do this shit again Brett, please. I like new stories, fresh stories on different teams and players. Not 50 stories per week on one player or team.

He said he doesn’t mind ending his career as a Jet. He had 18 great seasons and if thats all he has left, then goodbye.

Now what about Kurt Warner?? Boldin wants out..

UNC Tar Heels over Duke!!!

I am a huge fan of UNC. Along with Notre Dame they are my favorite college overall. From MJ, to Felton/May/McCants/Williams, and now Hansbrough.

College Hoops greatest dynasty has to be tha North Carolina Tar Heels. Many may say Duke, but whatever..

This was tha 4th win at Duke in a row! History. Hopefully they’ll keep it going..

Tyler will now go pro, wonder where he will get drafted to. Being a fan of tha Miami Heat-that would be amazing. Or maybe with Durant..

Ty Lawson scored 21 of his season-high 25 points in the second half and the third-ranked Tar Heels rallied past No. 6 Duke 101-87 on Wednesday night.

UNC #3
Duke #6

FINAL SCORE:
UNC 101 (FIRST HALF: 44 - SECOND HALF: 57)
DUKE 87 (FIRST HALF: 52 - SECOND HALF: 35)

Congratulations Steelers..

I know its a few days late and I have been posting blogs as of lately, but this years Super Bowl was for sure one of tha best I have personally seen in my life time. From the celebrations to the fights that was one action packed roller coaster that reminded me why I love football so damn much.

Tha first half closed with an amazing INT for 100 yard TD return and broke a Super Bowl record. Congrats on that. That run back was very nice and showed why he was tha defensive player of tha year.

Then tha long strike to Larry Fitzgerald for a score to get all Cards fans up and going.

But that finish was classic. Holmes got a nice grab from Ben to get PIT down tha field in range. Then that throw and catch, perfect. In my opinion that goes beyond last years finish for one of tha best. Holmes catch topped tha Giants TD in my opinion by far. Holmes wasn’t wide open and had to drag his feet and hold that ball. Ben placed tha ball perfect. Holmes deserved MVP.

I feel bad for Fitzgerald because he had his heart in this game like no other. Boldin played amazing and deserved a title. That whole AZ team deserved it just as much as PIT. I think tha biggest difference in this game that gave tha Steelers tha win, was AZ’s D not being able to bring Big Ben down enough. He kept on just getting away and completing passes. A few missed sacks in key situations gave PIT a W on tha biggest Sunday of tha year.
Some say that INT at tha end of tha 1st half gave them tha win. But AZ had 2 whole quarters to make up for that and they didn’t. You can’t blame Warner or that offense completely. That D just didn’t trap Ben enough and take him down. I understand he is big, but you gotta do your job as a defense player and at least get your damn hands in his face. They just missed tha tackles and didn’t throw hands up so he couldn’t make a throw.

Last off season I picked PIT to take it all and everyone laughed at me and said that Dallas would. And they didn’t even make tha playoffs..Ha
I was glad to see tha Cards make it for tha first time. Although they did beat my Eagles, which was kind of on a bullshit play where Hood (a former Eagle) tripped up Curtis, but no call was made. But that’s in tha past. Congrats PIT and AZ and all other playoff teams.

Now PIT has 6 Super Bowl titles to place them on top all time for SB Championships.

Eagles Beat Vikings

And just one month ago many wanted McNabb gone, wanted Andy Reid gone and said the Eagles were for sure out of the playoff race. Advance one month and the Philly Eagles, lead by McNabb win a wild card game over the Vikings and now move on to face last years champs NY Giants. Last time Philly won. Could they do it again and move on to the NFC Title game against either Carolina or Arizona?

Westbrook didn’t get going on the ground even with the injuries to that tough line, but he did break a huge pass off for 6 in the 4th. McNabb stayed focused and played great and lead Philly to a win. Samuel picked a pass from unsteady Jackson for a TD.

So congrats to my team, the Eagles for making the playoffs and moving on. Congrats to the Vikings for a good season and playoff berth.

Now its on to facing division rival, last years champs, the Giants.

Ravens Stomp Dolphins..

The strong D of Baltimore showed to be to tough for the ‘turn around team’ Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card game. Now the Ravens move on, while Miami will be going home. Ed Reed and company are one of the NFL’s top D’s and hardest to play. For Miami, when their QB Chad plays bad, they don’t win and that is exactly what happened among other things. I picked the Ravens to win by more than 2 TD’s and thats what went down.

Now the Ravens move on to face the Titians and the Dolphins get to look back at their good season. Miami went from 1 win, to Wild Card, which is great so they should be proud and focus on next season.

Congrats to the Ravens for moving on and Miami for a solid season.
Good luck facing the Titians Baltimore..

FINAL SCORE: 27-9

Chargers Beat Colts Again!!

Bolts top Colts!!
On Saturday the Chargers, with LT hurting, beat down the NFL’s ‘hottest’ team in OT with a Sproles TD! Again the bolts spoil the Colts run for the Super Bowl. I am a Chargers fan, and not Colts. I picked the Chargers and knew it’d be close, but this was a good game overall with a classic finish. LT hurting groin and back-up beast Sproles didn’t seem to mind the weight. Chargers are lucky to have 2 great backs like this. Rivers, who has been called one of the best QB’s this season, had a pretty below average game.

Congrats to SD Chargers for moving on, now they will face the Pit Steelers, which should either be another great game..or blowout. And congrats to the Indy Colts for making the playoffs and Manning for winning his 3rd MVP.

Good luck in the next round SD..

FINAL SCORE: 23-17 OT

Cardinals Top Falcons..

Playoffs.

Arizona beats the Atl Falcons in the Wild Card round on Saturday. Many said the Cards should win because of Atl’s rookie QB’s lack of experience, and many other things. But many also said Atl’s run game will win them the game. I personally picked the Cards, with their very strong passing game. Legend QB, 2 of todays best Wide Outs. And confident overall team. I didn’t think Atl would win because of the fact that they are a ‘young’ team and not fully experienced and fully ready for a game of this caliber. I am a fan of Turner and Ryan. But just knew the Falcons D couldn’t stop that amazing passing attack of Warner, Fitzgerald, and Boldin.

Congrats to Arizona for winning and moving on and congrats to Atl for making the playoffs and having a solid season in a strong division. Hats off to Turner for getting a starting job on his ‘own’ team and showing he is very talented and those years with LT and SD helped him develop.

Now everyone is sayin this is due to Kurt Warner and that he is good luck and just a miracle in football because he lead the Rams to a Super Bowl, then comes in and leads Arizona to a playoff win, first a home in a while. That could be, but I say it is him and the talent around him. The Cards 2 starting wide outs are some of the best WR’s to every put on a jersey in pro football. James is a great back, but Arizona fucked him over. That is just a team that came together and won.

Now the Arizona Cardinals will face the Carolina Panthers. That should be a great game. Good luck..

FINAL SCORE: 30-24

Colts Beat Jags

Peyton helps to lift tha Indy Colts over tha Jags and clinch Indy a playoff berth. Final score: 31-24. So he finds out he is a Pro Bowl selected player, then goes out and wins an important game to clinch a playoff spot. I’d say this is a pretty good week for Peyton. During halftime Manning asked to his coaches, if they had any suggestions for him and all they replied was “You haven’t thrown any incompletions. Just try to keep doing what your’re doing.” So pretty simple. He outplayed tha Jags D throughout tha game. Peyton was almost perfect thru tha entire game. Peyton completed 17 in a row. This leads Indy to their 8th win in a row and 7th playoff berth in a row. So Indy is a pretty solid team right now

Manning was 29/34 with 364 yards and 3TD’s. With that great performance tha Indy Colts get a 5th seed in tha AFC playoff picture. Tha Jags were on top for most of tha game, or so it seemed by score. But of course, just as I thought tha Colts would pull it off as tha game counts down with strong drives and tight D. They always seem to go down in tha first few quarters, then out of no where win it.

Now there is still tha MVP talk going around and Peyton could sure be it, that was a solid game to argue that he is MVP. I am not a Colts fan at all, but congrats to Indy for this tough win and playoff clinch.

Sam Bradford Wins Heisman Trophy

This years Heisman Trophy winner is Oklahoma Sooners Quarter Back Sam Bradford. Congratulations. Last years winner was one of this years finalists, Flordia Gator QB Tim Tebow. These 2 are tha only 2 sophmores to win the Heisman, if Tebow would have won he would have joined Archie Griffin as tha only two-time winner. Bradford is an accurate passer and very fast at making his decisions on tha field. Tebow & Bradford’s teams- Oklahoma and Flordia - will be meeting on January 8th, 2009 for tha NCAA National Championship. Both teams are 12-1 and will be meeting up in Miami, Flordia. Bradford said: “We’re ready to get back to work to get ready for the 8th,” - “When we started this season, winning the national championship was the first goal we put down as a team.” So that shows confidence of tha Sooners.

In January this National Title game will be only tha 2nd time Heisman winners play against each other. So which was tha 1st? 2005 Orange Bowl- 2004 winner, USC’s Matt Leinart and 2003’s winner, Oklahoma’s Jason White.

Sam Bradford is tha nations leaders in TD passes, with 48. That is an amazing stat for college QB’s. He got a total of 1,726 points. Colt McCoy-Texas’ QB came in 2nd place with 1,604, and 3rd was Tim Tebow with 1,575. Bradford held up tha 25 pound legendary trophy with one hand, tha other in a cast. Tebow actually got more 1st place votes with 309. Bradford had 300 and McCoy 266. A player getting more 1st place votes coming in 3rd hasn’t happned since 1956, when it happened to Tommy McDonald of Oklahoma.

Sam Bradford is now tha 3rd person to win tha Heisman without getting tha most first-place votes. He joins Notre Dame’s Paul Hornung also in 1956 and Oklahoma’s Billy Sims in 1978.

So congrats to Bradford for winning. Congrats to McCoy and Tebow for being finalists. Congrats to Flordia Gators and Oklahoma Sooners..Good luck in tha National Championship..

NFL Week 15 Sunday Games Quick Look

So Thursday Night Football has came and gone with Chicago beating New Orleans in OT 27-24 and maybe ending tha Saints playoff hopes. So lets look at this weeks games:

TAMPA @ ATLANTA
Division, very important game for this time of year. If TB wins, NO and ATL could be done. Tampa will be looking to rebound from last weeks division lose to Carolina. If tha Buccs win then it seems TB and CAR will make tha playoffs, while ATL and NO won’t.

SF @ MIA
Dolphins need to win to stay in tha playoff hunt and division hunt, to keep up with rivals. MIA should beat down this weak 49er D, but who knows? Could SF hurt tha Dolpins season this week? From 1 win to playoff hunt team.

SEA @ STL
Least important game of tha week and maybe tha season. 2 teams with damn near no playoff chance. Division where STL’s new kicker is facing his former team which he helped beat his current team last season. Should be important to these players, but not tha overall league. Julius Jones? Steven Jackson? Avery? Branch? Who will show up to play? Holt??

BUF @ NYJ
Bills could hurt tha Jets here if they pull off a W. Jets could stay strong with a win and keep in tha race. Should be a good game.

SD @ KC
Last time they came down to a missed KC 2pt conversion to win by 1. So SD should not overlook tha Cheifs, who’s passing game is getting better by tha week. Watch out for Bowe and Gonzalez. Chargers could stay within tha playoff hunt barely with a W, or KC could spoil their division rivals chances..

WAS @ CIN
Redskins NEED this game. They should win, but think back a few weeks to tha Bengals TIE with Philly. So ’skins don’t need to be too confident. Portis is healthy, so he should get a good amount of carries after drama with his coach.

TEN @ HOU
Ten has their division, they just need to finish this season and they will be headed to tha playoffs, but they don’t need to overlook tha Texans and Walter/Johnson. Could Houston upset tha once perfect Titians?

GB @ JAC
Packers need to win, Jags need to win. Should be a tough fought game with two strong teams needing to win. Playoffs are getting decided within these final weeks with good games like this.

DET @ IND
So Colts should win, but Lions RB Smith is predicted to demolish this weak Colts rushing D. Colts ’should’ win, but could we see a miracle?

MIN @ ARI
Cards should win this thru tha air with their strong passing game of great wide outs and great QB. But Vikings have a great offense also. This game will come down to defense.

PIT @ BAL
Maybe tha game of tha week. Two very tough teams with very good defenses. Anything could happen in this game. Ravens need their D to keep getting turnovers and need their offense to advance tha ball to be able to have a chance. Should be a great game.

DEN @ CAR
Important game that tha Panthers should win on tha ground and short passes. But don’t forget Denver has good wide outs, but no solid HEALTHY running backs, check their IR. Carolina ’should’ win this and continue on their path to tha post season.

NE @ OAK
Pats should walk all over tha weak Raiders, although don’t forget about Oaklands star Corner back..And Matt is having issues with his fathers passing.

NYG @ DAL
Giants will try to bounce back from their 2nd lose last week to division rival Philly, facing another division rival in Dallas. Last week Romo lost tha game for tha ‘boys, I don’t care what anyone says. I either see tha Giants coming back and fighting to show they are tha defending champs and avenging their L last week, or tha Cowboys pounding tha ball in tha endzone and pulling off a W. Being an Eagles fan, I would love to see tha Giants (who I do not like at all) win just to help Philly out. Division and playoff important.

Monday Night Football

CLE @ PHI
Tha only 2 teams to defeat tha Giants up to week 15 are facing. Browns who lost 2 QB’s within a few weeks are facing tha red hot Eagles who beat 2 great teams in a row. Arizona and New York Giants. Philly looks to continue their run towards tha playoffs and should win this with ease. McNabb is back on it, Westbrook has 2 30+ fantasy point performances, and their D is playing hard. Andy Reid is good at putting together end of season runs and finishing strong. Eagles need to win this game, beat tha Redskins next week, and beat tha Cowboys in week 17, plus ATL needs to lose. So it would be helpful if tha Giants beat tha ‘Boys and Bengals beat tha ‘Skins, and even better if ATL loses to Tampa.

Bears Beat Saints In OT

So Thursday Night Football, Saints vs Bears. Good game. Chicago beats New Orleans with a Field Goal in over time last night. Final score: 27-24. This win greatly helps the close race within the NFC. Panthers and Buccs just got a small boost with this L towards N.O. So Saints fall to 7-7 while Chi-Town goes to 8-6 and keeps playoff hopes alive. If tha Falcons lose one more they are pretty much out of tha playoff picture, especially if tha Philly Eagles win every game from here on out. And Andy Reid is good at putting together end of season streaks, and now McNabb is on fire, Westbrook is destroying defenses, and that Eagles run D is hard to get thru. Matt Ryan and Turner need to turn it up to stay alive. But they are facing Tampa Bay this Sunday, which will be tough for them. Warrick is a hard running back, Williams is playing again, Garcia has a good arm, Bryant is a beast wide out. Plus that D is great, one of tha NFL’s top. I believe tha Buccs will beat tha Falcons, and knock them out of tha race. If not, next week ATL has to travel to tha Vikings and that tough run game with 2 great backs. Thats a game that could go either way. Personally, being an Eagles fan I NEED tha Falcons to lose just one more, Eagles to win their final games and defeat tha Dallas Cowboys in week 17, which is looking very possible with how tha Eagles are playing and Romo’s horrific passing last week that cost Dallas tha game. Plus I’m a Buccs and Panthers fan.

So TNF.

Brees threw 2TD’s and 2INT’s. 24/43 with 232.
Orton threw 0TD’s and 2INT’s. 24/40 with 172.
So although each threw up 2 picks, Brees had a much better game with 2 touchdowns and more overall yards. B Maynard came in and went 0/1, yep you read that right. One pass.

Saints:
Thomas had 22 attempts for 87yds and 1TD.
Bush had 6 attempts for 30yds.

Bears:
Forte had 11 attempts 41yds and 1TD.
Peterson had 5 attempts for 15yds.
Orton had 4 attempts for 6yds and 1TD.

So Saints had 1 Rushing TD and Bears 2. Thomas also caught his share of passes and scored on a recpetion also, so he had a great game.

One game highlight was tha opening kickoff where D Manning of Chicago ran tha kick-off back 83yds for a TD. And Robbie Gould of course had a winning kick in OT plus one in tha 4th to keep them in it. Saints took a hard hit towards playoff hopes. Now if Tampa and Carolina win it could be over..

ESPN Streak For The Cash 2008 Winner!

For anyone who uses ESPN.com’s fantasy section for football, basketball, college, and so on should have heard of the ‘Streak For The Cash’ mini game ESPN has. A quick description of this game is each day you pick a sports match-up, either who will win, which running back will have more yards, point margin, and things along those lines. The ultimate goal is to get a “Streak” of 25 wins by December 31st. You can pick a few games per day, but only one at a time. Whoever can do this gets $1 Million from ESPN. 2nd best streak gets $10,000 and so on. Well, the magic number of 25 in a row has been touched by ‘Bigsam1122′ and he has won himself the money. His real name is Samuel Louis-Charles from Bristol, Conn. ESPN.com/fantasy has a photo of him with one of those oversized checks made out to him. Congrats to Samuel for winning. Now 2nd place is still up for grabs and I just checked and its at 19 and 18 for the following players. Also each month the person with the most wins within that month gets a nice cash prize. If you haven’t checked ESPN.con/fantasy out, go do so and maybe next year sign up for Streak For The Cash. Again congratulations to Bigsam1122 for getting 25, well it says 26 currently and getting that money.

NFL Week 12 Thursday Night Football Recap

So Thursday Night Football is now over with a final score of Steelers 27-Bengals 10
Of course PIT won, who woulda picked Cinci? They are a team in need of rebuilding. Steelers strong D had a great game, Big Ben only threw 1 TD to tight end Heath Miller. Overall this is what PIT really needed.

Each team had 1 turnover. 208 net yards for CIN and 364 net yards for PIT. Steelers had more T.O.P. with 35:20 compared to Cinci’s 24:40.

An interesting fact is that Ben now has his 47th win in his 5 year career passing John Elway and one game from Otto Graham, Marino, and Brady. He has alot of hatters and critics, but continues to play solid and play to win.

Ben was 17/30 with 243 yards 1TD, and no INT’s. He also had 13 rushing yards on 3 att for 1 TD. So he finished with nice stats.

Fitzpatrick was 20/37 with 168 yards, 1TD, and 1INT. His 1TD was to G. Holt who had 16 yards on 2 catches.

Top 2 rushers for both teams are:

Cinci: Benson had 16 attempts for 35yds with his longest at 7 yards. He was controlled and had a bad game.

Pit: Moore had 15 attempts for 56yds with his longest at 15 yards. He didn’t score either. Not a great game, but not a horrible game.

Cinci is a team that needs to build from tha ground up and have a big change in coaching staff and pull off a few good free agent pick ups and good trades. While PIT is a team who is looking at playoffs and has solid game play on both sides of tha ball, especially defense. I am glad PIT won, seeing I picked them and that they needed it more than tha Bengals did..

NFL Week 12 Quick Look

Ok so Week 12 is here, lets take a real quick look at each game..

Week 12
Thu, Nov 20
CIN @ PIT 8:15 PM
Lets see how Cinci bounces back after a TIE last week. Steelers should beat tha one win Bengals as long as they control turn overs and play strong.

Sun, Nov 23
CAR @ ATL 1:00 PM
Division, important game here. With how each teams running backs are playin this could go either way, could be tight, or a blow out. If Matt Ryan controls tha ball with little to none turnovers, Falcons should win. If Jake plays strong, and both Panthers wide outs grab tha ball, Panthers should win. This is one of those tough games that should be great to watch, hopefully..

PHI @ BAL 1:00 PM
Eagles TIED lasted week and Ravens got stomped to tha ground, which is odd because just 2 weeks ago BAL broke 40 points. So who knows in this game? If McNabb steps up and plays like an elite QB, Eagles should have no issues. If Westbrook can get something going, either catching or rushing, Eagles should win. Of course I am going with Eagles because they are my team and NEED to win this, but this should be a tough game.

HOU @ CLE 1:00 PM
Quinn!! Fuck Anderson. For those who don’t know yet, I believe Anderson is one of tha NFL’s top overatted QB’s and not very talented. Just look at what has happened, Edwards drops alot of balls, but with Quinn broke 100 yards last week. And I am a huge Notre Dame fan and have followed Quinn for some years now and am glad to see him getting his chance. Which ever teams gets something going and going good should walk away with a W. If Texans can get a solid passing game, or Cleveland can. Either way..

SF @ DAL 1:00 PM
Dallas should win. Should is tha key word. Romo is back, Witten is a beast, TO is a beast and this D is breakable and team is struggling. I see a good game either Dallas walking on them or 49ers shocking everyone and pulling one of ‘those’ wins off. Since I’m an Eagles fan I would love SF to win, but on paper it looks like Dallas should.

TB @ DET 1:00 PM
So tha Buccs lost one back, but Dunn will be starter, which is good. He is predicted 23 fantasy in a basic league this week. Buccs should win, nothing more to say really. Dunn and Williams should run on this D easy. This should be a blow out in favor of Tampa, unless tha Lions decide to step up and Daunte gets at that D.

MIN @ JAC 1:00 PM
On paper this game looks like Carolina and Atlanta. 2 teams with strong running backs. In this case, both teams have 2 good backs that can eat a D alive. Jones-Drew and Taylor ’should’ have a field day on tha Vikings run D, and so should Chester and AP. Could go either way. Depends on QB’s and turnovers.

BUF @ KC 1:00 PM
So lets look at this..KC is getting closer and closer to winning, while tha Bills have dropped a few games in a row after a great start. On papper it seems like tha Cheifs will pull it off, but tha Bills have to be focused and wanting a W. This could tha game of tha week. Could come down to OT or last second, or Lee Evens or Bowe could tear apart tha opposing D and be a blow out. Lynch could run on KC easily if he gets going. ?

NE @ MIA 1:00 PM
No Tom Brady still, but they don’t seem to need him, huh? Ginn is getting better by tha week. Division. Looks like a great game on paper. I would like MIA to win, but tha Pats offense has been playing hard and strong in tha past few weeks. Who knows..

CHI @ STL 1:00 PM
Bears need this win, while tha Rams don’t really. Bears need this to keep playoff hopes going, while Rams need some self-esstem. Bears ’should’ win unless Avery explodes or Holt.

NYJ @ TEN 1:00 PM
10-0, going for 11-0. I want to see tha Titians make it to 11-0, but they must go thru Favre and this good Jets offense. They can do it if they stay focused. Titians!

OAK @ DEN 4:05 PM
Division. Broncos should win with no issues. Unless we see an amazing upset..

NYG @ ARI 4:15 PM
2 of tha best teams. In my opinion Cards may be tha best along side Giants and Titians. This should be a good game and I HOPE tha Cards hand tha Giants their 2nd L. Boldin is a fuckin beast and if he has tha chance could tear this D, same with Larry. Hightower may get going, but may not. I am all for ARI, but this should be a tough fought game with tha winning team coming out tired and wore down.

WAS @ SEA 4:15 PM
On paper its all Redskins. But if Julius Jones gets going and ‘hawks get their offense rolling, tha ’skins could drop another easy one, as they did with STL.

IND @ SD 8:15 PM
Could be great, may be a blow out. If LT and that SD offense gets up and plays, Chargers all tha way, but if Addai puts up another great rushing..? I am all for tha Bolts, but this is two tough teams..

Mon, Nov 24
GB @ NO 8:30 PM
On paper Green Bay should win and Rodgers should have a field day. Unless Brees wakes up. I am going with GB, but still leaning towards tha Saints just a little because its Monday Night Football and great things happen..

NFL Week 11 Quick Look

Ok so NFL Week 11 is here starting tonight with tha Jets playing at tha Pats. And Ty Law will be going up against his former team. No more byes, its time for teams to play hard and play to win, playoffs are up for grabs. This year has tight races in many divisions. So lets take a quick look at this weeks games.

Week 11
Thu, Nov 13

NYJ @ NE 8:15 PM
This looks like a good game, with no Brady tha Pats are still playing hard and playing good. These two usually play tough when they play. Tha Jets had a ‘free’ win last week with walking on tha weak Rams. This week they will come back down to earth and face a tough offense and tough defense.

Sun, Nov 16

DEN @ ATL 1:00 PM
This could go either way. Denver’s passing attack could tear tha Falcons apart, but Atlanta’s running attack could tear Denver down. Whoever gets a good start and breaks away should pull this one off. Marshall and Royal are expected to have big games, but so if Turner..So?

DET @ CAR 1:00 PM
Williams takes advantage of weak D’s when he plays them and should have a field day with tha Lions horrible run D. Jake should rebound from last weeks 4 INTS and -2 fantasy points. Panthers are tha high picked favorite in this one. Unless tha Lions pull something new and crazy out look for Carolina to win.

PHI @ CIN 1:00 PM
Last week tha Eagles lost a very hard fought game that they needed to win. They should rebound nice against this weak team. Westbrook is being predicted to explode on Cinci’s D, Curtis and Jackson are expected to get nice stats. McNabb can easily pick apart this D with his good passing and sneaking abillity. Look for Philly to get a W, unless some how tha Bengals start strong and finish strong.

CHI @ GB 1:00 PM
This should be good. Bears travel to tha Packers. Rodgers is thought to have a good game. Many think of strong/hard/tough D when they think of Chicago, but by stats thats not exactly tha case. Tha Bears D needs to play hard and maybe score, or Hester return a punt of kickoff. Should be a hard fought game until tha end.

HOU @ IND 1:00 PM
This is a hard game to call. Indy is playing good, Texans are playing good. I would like to see tha Texans pull this off, but who knows?

TEN @ JAC 1:00 PM
Undefeated Titians are facing a tough Jags team. Just like last week should be hard fought. If tha Titians can find a good running game and hold of Taylor and Jones-Drew they should get another W.

NO @ KC 1:00 PM
Tha Cheifs are playing better with each week and could pull off a win here. If they contain Brees, who knows what will happen. Last week they almost beat SD, but missed a 2pt conversion in tha final seconds. KC’s passing attack is getting better with their QB hitting 3 wide outs on a regular basis. What will happen?

OAK @ MIA 1:00 PM
Dolpins should win, plain and simple. McFadden’s toe, weak D, and weak offense equals a hard game for Oakland. Unless a magically ending happens or many picks and turnovers look for MIA to get tha W.

BAL @ NYG 1:00 PM
This should be one hell of a game. I really hope tha Ravens walk on tha Giants, but NY is a tough team. Last week tha Ravens destroyed. Get em Ed Reed..

MIN @ TB 1:00 PM
Tampa has RB issues with injuries and Williams is active now. So anything could happen. If Tampa gets a running game going they may win, but tha Vikings are playing like they want tha playoffs. ???

STL @ SF 4:05 PM
With Jackson injuried and last weeks beating, 49ers ’should’ win. I am a STL fan because I am from STL, but I am a huge fan of Issac Bruce and hope he gets in tha endzone. Could go either way.

ARI @ SEA 4:05 PM
By a quick look, tha Cards should kill tha ‘Hawks. But Hasselback should be back, so who knows? If Julius Jones hits hard and hits strong SEA has a chance. But with tha way Warner and Boldin are connecting Arizona is one of tha NFL’s top teams right now.

SD @ PIT 4:15 PM
Pit is injuried and beat up so SD should win. This may be a last second play type of game, unless turnovers happens too much. Either way..

DAL @ WAS 8:15 PM
Division. Romo should play which means TO should score. Witten is still banged up, that hurts Dallas. But Portis looks like he will not play. If Portis doesn’t play Dallas should take advantage and pressure Jason hard. But they have depth at RB and could still get some kind of running game. I would like tha ’skins to win, but this should be a tough game.

Mon, Nov 17

CLE @ BUF 8:30 PM
I hope Quinn gets his first win here, but Bills are a tough team. If Edwards decides to catch tha damn ball tha Browns could win. Tough game or blow out?

Madden 09 Achievements: Team..

Ok on to tha next Madden 09 Achievement posting. This one is about tha ‘team’ style achievements. By team I mean, you must be that exact team to get that achievement. Tha teams are Dolphins, Falcons, Titians, & Jets. So here they are:

5. 6 Rush TDs with the Dolphins (50) —
6 Rush TDs in a game with the Dolphins (non co-op)

16. 7 Pass TDs with the Falcons (50) —
Throw 7 pass TDs in a game with the Falcons (non co-op)

17. 550 Pass Yds with the Titans (50) —
550 Pass Yds in a game with the Titans (non co-op)

18. 300 Rush Yds with the Jets (10) —
300 Rush Yds in a game with the Jets (non co-op)

“6 Rush TDs with the Dolphins”
Get 6 rushing TD’s while playing as tha Miami Dolphins. It doesn’t say it has to be with one player either. I used ‘Bess’ to catch alot of passes on slant routes to get me down tha field and Brown on short passes. It is worth 50 gamerscore. I was in franchise and got 8 rushing TD’s, 5 with Brown, but it didn’t count because I simmed on D for one quarter.

“7 Pass TDs with the Falcons”
Get 7 passing touchdowns while playing as tha Atlanta Falcons. I would say use Turner out of tha back field and on short routes to get tha yards and score. I did this once, and it never counted. I had 8 passing TD’s with Matt Ryan. I think it didn’t count because I simmed a few defensive plays, like 2 or 3 only. I’ve seen some say I has to be in play now and others say it has to be in franchise. Its worth 50 gamerscore.

“550 Pass Yds with the Titans”
Get 550+ passing yards with tha Titians. Pretty self explanitory. I would play tha full game and don’t sim anything. Its worth 50 gamerscore.

“300 Rush Yds with the Jets”
Get 300+ rushing yards with tha New York Jets. It doesn’t say with one player so use Jones and Washington to pound tha ball and get those yards. Its worth 10 gamerscore, prolly since they have 2 good backs.

1. 2 TD Kickoff Returns in a game (75) —
Return 2 Kickoffs for a TD in a game (non co-op)

8. 2 TD Punt Returns in a game (65) —
2 TD Punt Returns in a game (non co-op)

20. Midway Monster (50) —
Create a legendary player from the past. Do accomplish this, you must go to the “Create A Superstar” mode. Once there, you enter “Bones” as a case-sensitive first name and “Jackson” as a case-sensitive last name. Lastly you save the character to get the achievement.

25. Secret achievement: Now Here’s a Guy… (50) —
Thank you for purchasing Madden NFL 09. Here’s to another 20 years!

“2 TD Kickoff Returns in a game”
Reeturn 2 kickoffs for touchdowns in a game. I’d try using tha Eagles for Jackson, Bears for Hester, or Jags for Jones-Drew. Worth 75 gamerscore.

“2 TD Punt Returns in a game”
Reeturn 2 punts for touchdowns in a game. I’d try using tha Eagles for Jackson, Bears for Hester, or Jags for Jones-Drew. Worth 65 gamerscore.

“Midway Monster”
So your wanting to know how to do this one huh? First go to the “Create A Superstar” mode, then enter: ‘BONES’ as first name and: ‘JACKSON’ as last name. (BONES JACKSON) It is not case-sensitive. I think you need to change tha team to ‘Bengals’, not 100% sure about that, but I did because thats how I saw it. Then just hit (B) and ‘Keep Without Saving’ or whatever you want, and you will see tha achievement pop up.
Very very easy..Worth 50 gamerscore!

“Secret achievement: Now Here’s a Guy…”
Ok so tha ‘Secret’ one now. This is just like ‘Midway Monster.’ Go to “Create A Superstar” mode, then enter: ‘JOHN’ as first name, and: ‘MADDEN’ as last name. (JOHN MADDEN) Again not case-sensitive. Then just like above you can keep without saving or save or whatever, but you will get it. Again easy and worth 50 gamerscore. 2 quick and easy ones worth 100 gamerscore..

Ok so there are all tha Madden 09 Achievements within all these posts to help you out. I will post more about Madden 09 gameplay within later posts so keep checking and reading..

Score 40 points in a Rival game (non co-op)

19. Hold a Rival to under 20 points (10) —

“Shut out Rival in a Franchise”
Must be in Franchise mode. Shut out a rival team, hold em to 0. Worth 50 gamerscore.

“Hold a Rival to under 300 yards”
Does not say franchise, so play now should be good. Hold your rival team under 300 total yards. Not that hard. Worth 50 gamerscore.

“Score 60 points in a Rival game”
Does not say franchise, so play now should be good. Score a total of 60+ points in a rival game. Try doing this and tha 40 point one in tha same game. Worth 30 gamerscore.

“Score 40 points in a Rival game”
Does not say franchise, so play now should be good. Score a total of 40+ points in a rival game. Try doing this and tha 60 point one in tha same game. Worth 20 gamerscore.

“Hold a Rival to under 20 points”
Hold your rival team under 20 points in a game. Try getting a blow out and get this one, tha 40 point, and tha 60 point in tha same game. Worth 10 gamerscore.

Madden 09 Achievements: Easy In Game..

Ok so here is tha first post for Madden 09 Achievements and breaking them down. Lets get into it. First let me say that my explainations are from how I got them. I will leave tha #’s next to them just like in tha very 1st post so you know tha order. I will explain these achievements in this post:

21. Can You Believe These Seats?! (30) —
Celebrate a touchdown in a wall hotspot

22. Steal Their Thunder (30) —
Steal an opposing player’s touchdown celebration

23. Slam Dunk All-Star (30) —
Dunk the ball over the goalpost (or at least attempt to) after a touchdown

24. Shine In The Spotlight (30) —
Celebrate a touchdown in an endzone hotspot

Ok, these are tha easiest in game achievements you can possibly get..

“Can You Believe These Seats”
This was one of tha very first I personally got. You can go to Play Now, Franchise, Madden Moments, or whatever. Once you score you will see an area ‘light up’ behind tha field goal post, just in front of tha fans..You run their and press (Y) That’s it and it’s worth 30 gamerscore.

“Steal Their Thunder”
I’ve seen most say you have to let tha other team score first, and I’ve seen some say you don’t have to let them score first. I personally did this in one of tha Madden Moments. Once you score a TD go to tha ‘light up area’ in front of tha field goal post and press (B) and you get 30 gamerscore..

“Slam Dunk All-Star”
Once you score run your player into tha area just in front of tha field goal post and press (Y) and once your player goes up for tha ’slam dunk’ you will get 30 gamerscore..

“Shine In The Spotlight”
Once I scored I ran into tha ‘hot spot area’ near tha outside of tha right side of tha endzone and pressed (Y) and got 30 gamerscore..

Week 8 MNF Recap

Ok so Week 8 is now passed and gone with this game ending.
We had a good week with tha Saints taking down tha Chargers over sea’s, LT playing great. Eagles defeating tha Falcons. Pats beating tha Rams. And so on..Recap of week 8’s Sunday games were posted yesterday. Lets discuss tha game and stats:

FINAL SCORE:
IND @ TEN 21-31

And tha Titians stay undefeated with a tough win against tha Indy Colts. Titians scored 17 in tha 4th Quarter and Indy scored a TD within tha final 2 minutes but it just wasn’t enough because they were still down 10 and did not get tha ball back..

Titians are now 7-0
Colts are now 3-4

PASSING STATS:
IND:
Peyton Manning was 26 for 41 with 223 yards and an average of 5.4 - 2TD’s & 2 INT’s
TEN:
Kerry Collins was 24 for 37 with 193 yards and an average of 5.2 - 0 TD’s & 0 INT’s

Both QB’s had a good outing. Even thou Collins had no TD’s, he also didn’t have any picks. Peyton had 2 of each, but more yards and a better average.

RUSHING STATS:
IND:
Dominic Rhodes 17 carries for 70 yards and an average of 4.1
Chad Simpson 4 carries for 23 and an average of 5.8
Peyton Manning 1 carry for 1 and and average of 1.0 with 1 TD

TEN:
Chris Johnson 19 carries for 77 yards and an average of 4.1 with 1 TD
LenDale White 10 carries for 13 yards with an average of 1.3 with 2 TD’s
Kerry Collins 2 carries for -2 yards and an average of -1.0

Both teams had nice rushing games. IND had 94 rushing yards and TEN had 88 rushing yards. But where TEN won tha rushing game is touchdowns, Colts had 1 and Titians had 3. And Indy’s 1 came with under 2 minutes left in tha game by Manning.

RECEIVING STATS:
IND:
Dallas Clark 7 rec for 94 yards and an average of 13.4 with 2TD’s
Dominic Rhodes 8 rec for 39 yards and an average of 4.9
Reggie Wayne 3 rec for 29 yards and an average of 9.7
Anthony Gonzalez 4 rec for 27 yards and an average of 6.8
Chad Simpson 2 rec for 24 yards and an average of 12.0
Marvin Harrison 1 rec for 12 yards and an average of 12.0
Charlie Johnson 1 rec for -2 yards and an average of -2.0

TEN:
Bo Scaife 5 rec for 44 yards and an average of 8.8
Brandon Jones 4 rec for 40 yards and an average of 10.0
Alge Crumpler 4 rec for 35 yards and an average of 8.8
Justin McCareins 2 rec for 30 yards and an average of 15.0
Chris Johnson 4 rec for 19 yards and an average of 4.8
Lavelle Hawkins 1 rec for 13 yards and an average of 13.0
Justin Gage 1 rec for 6 yards and an average of 6.0
Ahmard Hall 2 rec for 5 yards and an average of 2.5
LenDale White 1 rec for 1 yards and an average of 1.0

Tha Colts had more receptions, yards, and touchdowns in tha receiving category. Colts had a total of 26 REC and Titians 24 REC. Ten had more people catching. Colts-223 yards and Titians-193. Colts average was even better with 8.6 compared to 8.0, so clearly Indy wins tha receiving game, which isn’t a shock when Peyton is healthy. So who wins top Wide Out of this game? Dallas Clark with 94 yards and 2 TD’s.

DEFENSIVE STATS:

No sacks on either side so tha QB’s were ok.
Colts had 61 tackles and Titians 58.
Titians Chris Hope had both INT’s

IND: Pierre Garcon had 6 kick returns for 150 yards and an average of 25.0
TEN: Chris Carr had 2 kick returns for 77 yards and an average of 38.5

IND: Adam Vinatieri was 3/3 for extra points.
TEN: Rob Bironas was 2/2 for extra points and 3/4 for FG’s.

Both Punters broke 100 yards in punting.

I would give tha Titians defense tha better game because they had 2 INT’s, even thou tha Colts D had more tackles.

NFL Week 8 Recap

Here are tha final scores for NFL’s Week 8 games on Oct. 26th

OAK @ BAL 10-29
Ravens win in a demanding way.

ARI @ CAR 23-27
Panthers take this one. When I first looked at this weeks games this is tha game that stood out as tha toughest and closest match-up. I did pick Carolina due to tha fact that they are at home and how tought their offense is.

TB @ DAL 9-13
Tampa falls to Dallas in a very low scoring match-up that tha Cowboys really needed.

WAS @ DET 25-17
Tha Redskins pull this W off in a good match. Another NFC East win this week.

BUF @ MIA 16-25
Tha Dolphins win this game at home against tha tough Bills. Miami is back this season and Ronnie Brown is healthy. This is a good win in a good game.

STL @ NE 16-23
Tha Rams win streak ends to tha Pats. This was a tough game with a bad outcome for Saint Louis.

SD @ NO 32-37
Game out of America! LT and Brees had killer games. Just an overall great game, one of tha best of week 8 with tha Saints winning it just barely.

KC @ NYJ 24-28
I picked tha Jets but was kinda of hoping to see tha worst team pull an upset, but they didn’t. This was a close game with only a 4 point difference.

ATL @ PHI 14-27
Yes! Westbrook had a career high at rushing yards with 167 and 2 TD’s. Westbrook got me 32 points in my ESPN Fantasy Leagues. Curtis played his first game of tha season and got 45 yards. McNabb had a nice passing day. Overall tha Eagles did great. Every NFC East team won today..Best division??

CLE @ JAC 23-17
Tha Browns seem to be back since their MNF win over tha Giants a few weeks ago, pulling this hard W out against a very good Jags team.

NYG @ PIT 21-14
Another NFC East victory. Tha Giants got a great win here over PIT. Both tha Giants and Eagles have beat tha Steelers, and Rams. Again, best division?

SNF
SEA @ SF
Seahawks get their 2nd in a row Sunday Night Football Game away and this time win it. Mike ‘Sing’ was not happy at all with this game. Kicking TE Davis out early and more. SEA got them a nice win here. Bad for tha 49ers..

BYES: Bears, Broncos, Packers, Vikings

MNF
IND @ TEN
Currently going on as I typed this. Right now is Titians up 31-14 with 2:51 in tha 4th. Recap of that will be posted tomorrow. Thanks for reading..

NFL Coaching Changes

So a few NFL teams have parted ways with their head coaches. Those teams are tha Rams, Raiders, and now 49ers. Since tha Saint Louis Rams cut their head coach they are 2-0 beating tha Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboy’s. Which are two amazing wins. So far they are tha best of tha 3 teams with coaching changes. Raiders are still struggling, but did get an amazing 57 yard field goal victory over tha New York Jets this past NFL week. 49ers just got stomped by tha New York Giants and didn’t even wait for their bye week to cut their head coach. This is a team with talent on both defense and offense, but just need a coach to help them out. And SF has fired Nolan and promote NFL legend Mike Singletary to head coach. This was tha same situation with tha Rams. A team with talent, but a coach that just drove them down in confidence and skill. He did not deserve to be a coach since day one and I personally hope he never gets an NFL head coaching position after what he did to tha Rams. Now tha Rams seem like a new team with much more energy and joy for tha game. Hopefully these 3 moves will help each team to grow and get better. Good luck to STL, OAK, & SF..

NFL Week 7 Recap Part 2

Welcome to NFL Week 7 Recap Part 2. Thanks again for reading..
Now for tha rest of tha week 7 games:

DAL @ STL 14-34
Yes! I am very very glad for this outcome. My main team is tha Eagles, but home team is STL. I am a fan of Dallas, but can not stand tha hype around their team. TO is a great wide out and Witten is a top tight end. But they are not tha best in tha NFL right now. Since STL fired our bullshit head coach we have been brought back to life and completely turned around. STL has played tha whole NFC East now, getting stomped by tha Giants & Eagles, but taking down tha Redskins & Cowboys. So whos to say we are not back now? Taking two of tha hottest teams in a row. Jackson finally had tha game he deserves, he is a hard working back.

DET @ HOU 21-28
Of course tha Texans won, but barely. Tha Lions got rid of Williams which may or may not hurt them, but this just is not their season. Texans are getting better and better.

IND @ GB 14-34
Yes! I am glad tha Packers got tha Colts this bad. Take Indy out of that hype around them.

NYJ @ OAK 13-16
This was one amazing ending if you missed it. 57 yard field goal by tha Raiders to break a Raiders record and beat tha Jets. That is what Favre gets for ’sharing’ information on his former team, asshole.

CLE @ WAS 11-14
Well of course tha ’skins beat tha Browns. But by 3? WTF? Since they took down Dallas and Philly, then STL took them down they are in shock or something. Come on Washington.

SNF
SEA @ TB 10-20
Everyone picked Tampa to take this game, but not just by 10. Tampa’s division is one of this seasons toughest.

MNF
DEN @ NE 7-41
Wow! Broncos get killed by tha Pats which shocked alot of people. Turnovers screwed Denver. Hopefully they can bounch back.

NFL Week 7 Recap

Week 7 is officially wrapped up and finished, so lets take a look at tha games..

Byes: Cardinals, Falcons, Jags, Eagles

SUNDAY OCT. 19th

SD @ BUF 14-23
Tha BILLS beat down tha struggling CHARGERS. With LT still banged up and Chambers hurt too, SD loses again. Once LT heals, which will hopefully be this season and quick, watch out.

NO @ CAR 7-30
Tha PANTHERS shock most by walking on tha SAINTS and stopping Brees. I picked CAR, but not by this much. Most thought Brees would get this D and good, but he did not at all. Panthers keep on rollin..

MIN @ CHI 41-48
What a game! BEARS take this one just barely in a very high scoring game. Bears D gets 2 TD’s. I picked Chicago and picked right here. What a great game!

PIT @ CIN 38-10
Of course tha Steelers would win this one. No offense, but if you picked tha Bengals you are crazy. They are now winless. Once Parker is to full health watch out. Tha back-up’s, back-up for PIT had one amazing game and around 30 fantasy points.

TEN @ KC 34-10
Again, if you picked KC you are crazy. They are a struggling franchise right now and TEN is now 6-0! What a great start.

BAL @ MIA 27-13
Ravens take down tha Dolphins who were just rising. BAL needed this win after last week.

SF @ NYG 17-29
Giants take out tha 49ers and then SF fires their head coach due to a 2-5 start. I picked tha Giants, but wish tha 49ers would have gotten this one.

Go to part two of tha NFL Week 7 Recap for tha final scores of tha rest of tha games.
