Eminem Post
Most say, oh hes white, hes wack, no talent, only talks about killin his mom, and bullshit like that. But listen close and you’ll hear Hip-Hop. You’ll hear a special ability that most don’t have. His word play, lyrical ability, story telling ability, and crazyness all together equals Hip-Hop. Even in his insane/odd songs that seem to make no sense, if you really listen they make alot of sense. And his deeper songs like Lose Yourself or Like Toy Soldiers, his lyrics are amazing. Fuck skin color, that don’t mean anything in music. Elvis was white, but did ‘black music’ and is considered tha King Of Rock. And Em is a fuckin King Of Rap. Eminem or his Slim Shady side, no matter what delivered a great song with deep parts, funny parts, and crazy parts. And how he made fun of himself opened new doors in Hip-Hop. Nobody had done what Em did. And he came in right when Hip-Hop began fading and saved what was left. Around tha time that DMX and Eminem came in, Hip-Hop needed them. They saved Hip-Hop. After Pac and Big died everyone thought Hip-Hop was done for, but they changed that. Songs like Brain Damage, they tell a story, but with a lyrically crazy twist. And in all his beefs, he destroyed them. Ja Rule got lyrically fuckin murdered by Em, Obie, & D12. 50 was holding his own and standing strong, but Em came in and finished it. Songs like Go 2 Sleep, Bully, Like Toy Soldiers (Not a diss, but address’ his beef), Rain Man, Quitter, and many more show his ability to lyrical slay mutha fuckers. One of his greatest and Hip-Hop’s greatest songs, Sing For The Moment, clearly shows his lyrical ability and proves anyone who says he is not Hip-Hop, wrong. He had a fucked up life, bad parents, drugs, bullies, and so much crazy shit..And all that is why he is so damn talented. Without tha crazy shit, he would not be able to do what he does over a beat. And songs like Soldier just go to show that he has a hard side along with tha crazy side and deep side. And to be an emcee you must be able to touch every style and every level of Hip-Hop. The 3rd verse in Soldier in my opinion is one of his greatest. He explains how nobody will be able to do it like him, don’t even try it. And how he was influenced by Pac, which is another fact on why Pac is tha greatest. If you’d put Em up against or compare him to any dude today, it shows how weak tha game is. Everyone today is about money and cars, not lyrics and truth. No matter if tha lyrics are crazy and tha truth is hard to take, which is just Em’s style. Tell it how it is, fuck tha critics, and fuck tha world. He also had a great movie and did great in 8 Mile. In tha song Till I Collapse And D12 are talented as well. Everyone in tha group has their own style and skills. And Obie Trice, a Shady Records artist(now former), is very talented. He reminds me of Big L with his lyrical style, with his word play, and ability. And Ca$his, who is one of tha better of today’s emcees. And Em is one of tha people responsible for 50 Cent. 50 was great in his early years, but today I think he has lost love for tha game. 50 used to be a fuckin beast, but today seems to just care about money and only does club songs. Eminem is a legend no matter what anyone says. If you honestly do not think he is then listen to these tracks a few times, and really listen don’t just hear it: 8 Mile Road, As The World Turns, Bad Meets Evil, Brain Damaged, Bully, Business, Can A Bitch, Cleaning Out My Closet, Criminal, Go 2 Sleep, Got It Twisted Freestyle, Hailies Song, I’m Back, I’m Shady, If I Get Locked Up Tonight, If I Had, Like Toy Soldiers, Lose Yourself, Marshall Mathers, Mockingbird, Mosh, Murder Murder, Nail In The Coffin, No Apologies, Renegade (Original or New), Rock Bottom, Run Rabbit Run, Say What You Say, Sing For The Moment, Soldier, The Sauce, The Way I Am, Till I Collapse, We As Americans, We’re Back (One Verse By Em), Yellow Brick Road, and more. That is a long list, but if you don’t believe you should after that. His lyrical ability is amazing and untouchable..
