Brett Favre to be RELEASED!?
Yes! Brett Favre, tha face of tha Packers whole organization has asked to be released due to lack of interest by tha Packers of his return! So Favre will play this season!! All Favre fans should be very happy. But whats sad is he is being released by tha Green Bay Packers, which is HIS team. He has been their franchise player for so long and been tha main man in Green Bay. Now this brings questions about where he will go? Miami has had QB problems tha past few seasons, so has Oakland, and Baltimore..So where will he go? Will he start and play most of each game? Will he make tha Pro Bowl? Make tha Playoffs? Or even tha Super Bowl? A new team could mean a ‘fresh start’ and that could equal out to a better season. But last season was an amazing season for Favre and tha Packers. It showed that Brett still had ‘it’ in him and was still able to be a top player. One thing I don’t like about this is he and Donald Driver will not be playing together any more. If he went to tha Ravens he would have great WR’s in Derek Mason and Mark Clayton and an amazing TE in Todd Heap. I don’t understand what tha Packers are thinking, no offense to Rodgers, but he is no Brett Favre. Tha relationship built between Favre and his team is untouchable, but they are breaking it up. No matter where he goes I wish him tha best. He is a great QB, one of tha best.
So we may not be seeing Favre as #5 in tha Green Bay jersey like this:
As of right now, the Packers have not released Frave. They are weighting all the options before making any final decisions. As of right now, this minute, he has not been released.
