Young Buck, 50 Cent, TI, Game, and More.. ((Beef/Hip-Hop/Life))
So for those who do not know, Buck has left G-Unit. Now people are sayin beef is starting up and war will begin. 50 released a ‘taped conversation’ of Buck breaking down and crying and sayin sorry to 50. After 50 let this tape out, Buck responed to 50 & G-Unit with tha song “Taped Conversation” In this song he says lines like “Bitch niggaz do bitch things, look at 50 what he does just to get fame, record my phone call when I spoke from tha heart, that was a year ago, this was a joke from tha start, you a hoe, and I know, only people that record conversations is 5-0, now die slow”
This pretty much explains itself. Callin 50 out on tha things he has done to get fame and power and sayin only 5-0 record conversations.
Then he goes on just a few lines later to say:
“Understand I don’t bite tha hand that feeds me, but I will if that hand say it don’t need me” He is sayin only reason he left 50 & G-Unit is because 50 is acting as if he doesn’t need him. Then tha following line:
Look at ya’ll on tv, Banks look uneasy, if he told you how he feel, this is where he’d be, and they know Yayo is stuck in your a-hole, half of your staff only there for your payroll, ay TIP lay low, you ain’t gotta respond, he had tha magic stick, I got tha magic wand, I’m tha Don [Here I Come]”
This is sayin that if Banks would say how he really feels he would not be with G-Unit either. That Tony Yayo is stuck on 50, scared to say how he feels, and is 50’s ‘follower’. These thoughts are widely believe by Hip-Hop fans. Then sayin your staff is only there for your money. Now this next line is tha one that feeds into another beef and another story. Buck is telling T.I. to ‘lay low’ to not respond to 50’s diss. 50 has not admitted to dissing T.I. he just says to let tha public decide. In tha song “You So Tough” he raps this:
“Whats todays mathamatics, shit ain’t adding up, get knocked with 10 machines guns, only get 12 months, owee, don’t talk to me, you talk to him, you talkin to them, I got the best lawyers money can buy, They say at best they would’ve got me 10 or maybe 9, I said, ‘How do you explain how homie breezed?”, Said You keep your mouth shut or you eat the cheese”
This is a direct diss to T.I. how now has gun charges and is facing about one year in prision. 50 is sayin I woulda got 9 or 10 years, ‘How do you explain how homie breezed?’ He is basically saying T.I. ’snitched’ or ‘talked’. In Hip-Hop alot of rapper are accused of snitching or being FEDs. Whats odd about this situation is 50 is one of them. He and G-Unit have been called 5-0, FEDs, Police, etc. by many rappers. Tha most notable is The Game. That beef is still also going. Game stated that he will never stop tha beef with G-Unit & 50 in him and fellow BWS artists in tha song “Our Turn” Here is Games verse:
“Money on my mind, bitches on my dick, you can call yourself Curtis, but your still 50 Cent, Ain’t worth half a doller, so holla, I got Impalas that follow niggas home andpop collars like Patron bottles, I been gone and you miss me, and while I been gone ain’t one nigga try to diss me, will I ever stop dissing tha Unit, fuck no, I’m tha reason ya punk ass let Young Buck go, yo Buck holla at me, I got a slot for you, Yayo and Banks, fuck ya’ll, I got a glock for ya, or a shotgun or maybe this 38, June 28th your funeral slash release date”
Just like always he calls out 50 & G-Unit. Not just dissing, but showing straight disrespect. Clearly this beef will not end anytime soon. There is too much money being made and controversy around it. Game does not diss Buck thou, he says ‘I got a slot for ya’ So if Buck and 50 get heated up, maybe we will here Game & Buck on tha same track takin shots at 50 & G-Unit. Could tha game go crazy within beef?? Then at tha end of tha song you will here: “Keep on playin tha game 50, Bucks know whats real, Banks is next, you and Yayo gonna end up tha only niggaz left on G-Unit, I read that new XXL nigga, can’t nobody get kicked outta G-Unit but you, you’s a selfish nigga, thats why you got all tha money, huh?”
This is not Game sayin this, but a BWS artist. It is widely thought that Banks will leave and Yayo won’t, as I stated before. Alot of people consider 50 selfish, including fellow artists. No matter what I just hope that beef don’t ruin tha rest of whats left in this fucked up game. For real, tha games bad enough with all these wack new artists that spit no content. And if beef starts up between 50 & Buck, that could eventually draw in people like Eminem, D12, Obie Trce, Ca$his, Bobby Creekwater, & Stat Quo on 50’s side..And Outlawz, C-Bo, and more on Bucks side. Hopefully no one mentions anyone they should not. And if Game & 50 keep going at it that could draw in more artists, cause more cats to diss each of them and make that grow. Also if T.I. decides to respond to 50, that could cause beef between not only those two, but PSC & G-Unit and all tha people I just mentioned on 50’s side. And we all know T.I. has alot of supporters around him. One thing I do know, is Eminem will not diss T.I. and should not let any of his artists to diss him, unless T.I. speaks badly on them. T.I. and Eminem talk on tha phone to each other about what T.I. is going thru, about Hip-Hop, and just about whatever. T.I. says this in tha latest XXL towards tha end of his article.
Hopefully everything will stay cooled down and calm. Tha game is bad enough with songs that have no substance and rappers with no talent, we don’t need beef everywhere we look. And one thing I want to mention is I also heard Rick Ross dissing T.I.? What tha fuck is that about? Those two seemed cool. And Shawty Lo is now sayin T.I. is not from Bankhead, T.I. says he won’t start beef in this. It would be stupid for T.I. to diss 50, Ross, or Lo right now with all this legal trouble. That could just hurt him more than anything. His song “No Matter What” shows he is takin this good, weathering tha storm, and learning from this experiance. I have respect for T.I. and how he is handling his legal trouble, artists dissing him, and everything around him.
Now back to Buck & 50.
Here are more lines outta tha “Taped Conversation” by Young Buck:
“Real niggas do real things, real niggas never die and never give names, if I real nigga cry then its real pain, so I’m tha real my nigga I don’t feel ashamed, ain’t no pussy in my veins, I’m a G, without me you just tha U-N-I-T, without B, ya’ll should just give it out free, in tha South we,consider you weak, nigga when I speak tha streets get releif, they really find out tha truth about this beef, a victim of defeat when ya album was released, when Jay-Z made Kayne look like a beast, and BET told Jim Jones it was peace, just tryin to get some New York love at least, but they lovin me, I’m laughin at you while you worried about me, when ya punk ass respond I’ma give ya verse 3, ha you’ll see..”
This verse is very descriptive and explains itself. He is sayin he is real and when he cried it was ‘real pain’ He is sayin he does not feel bad or embarrased about crying. He states he is a G and without him they are just tha Unit. Then goes on to say tha South considers them weak and when he talks tha truth comes out. Next he talks about tha Kanye VS 50 sales beef which Kayne destroyed 50 on. 50 said he would retire tha rap game if Kayne sold more than him, and Kanye did, but 50 still raps??
Then he mentions Jim Jones, who 50 has beef with and says when 50 responds he will give verse 3. Then at tha end of tha song he just talks. He explains his side. He says tha conversation was about one year ago, not a few months. Says 50 was like a brother, so he dealt with him from tha heart, but 50 didn’t return that love.
If you do not have this MP3 and would like it just drop a comment with ya e-mail or get at me on my myspace, tha link is on tha right..
This is alot of controversy in tha rap game. Its not different than any other time, there is always beef. But all this beef is very intertwined. It is all connected and could end up a lyrical war. All these artists have their sides and tha fans will choose their sides. But all its really doing is makin Hip-Hop look bad. I’m not sayin I would handle it different or better or anything like that, because if someone disses me or disrespects me then I will respond. But some of this beef seems unecessary and pointless.
Like Ross dissing T.I.? Why start something that doesn’t need to be started?
Or Shawty Lo? Whats that shit about? Why does he wait until T.I. is in alot of shit and tha center of attetion to call him out on where he is from?
Seems like he wants some of T.I.’s fame and attention doesn’t it? 50 &
And one thing, in “No Matter What” around 3:25 to 3:31 he says what he has to say to address his beef..Ha ha..Check tha video at tha bottom. Buck has been long predicted and is finally playin out. Next seems like it will be Banks leaving and him VS 50. And Game & 50 just seem to never end. Artists need to just cool down and come together. Unite for a greater cause than money, cars, jewelry, fame, clothes, and all that bullshit. That stuff don’t matter, its about HIP-HOP. Tha love of tha music and tha joy of tha culture. KRS & Nelly showed they can come together on songs and get along. And as bad as Pac dissed Nas back in tha day, Pac ended it. Beef can be handled before it gets out of control. If someone gets shot or killed from any of these situations, Hip-Hop will be blamed like always. When they need to blame tha individuals, not tha game. It is not tha music that makes you pick a gun up, load it, and shot someone. Yes it makes that shit sound cool and all that, but its really up to you. You are your own person, you control your decisions, not tha emcee. Eminem says that shit alot. Like in “Sing For The Moment”
“I guess words are a mutha fucker, they can be great, or they can degrat, or even worse they can teach hate, its like these kids hang on every single statement we make, like they worship us, plus all tha stores ship us platinum”
This tells it perfect. Words are more powerfull than anything. Words can move a crowd, begin a movement, end a legacy, start a career, teach you, or destroy you. Most Hip-Hop artsits are looked as Kings and legends just for what they say on a track. And kids hear tha words and live by that. Hip-Hop touchs you like no other genre. It teachs you love and hate, joy and envy, and pretty much molds you. I mean look at this situation right now, I wrote this about Hip-Hop and you read it because you care for Hip-Hop. Hip-Hop is all around us, music, movies, tv, media, clothes, shoes, cars, everything..
Then Em goes on to say:
“They say music can alter moves and talk to you, well can it load a gun up for you and cock it too? Well if it can then tha next time you assault a dude, just tell tha judge it was my fault and I’ll get sued..”
This is tha perfect line to explain tha power of Hip-Hop. People like Dr. Phil & Ophra blame Hip-Hops lyrics and image. Tha gun talk, gang talk, death, hate, and all that. But don’t people say ‘Stick & stones may break my bones, but words dont hurt me’?
If thats true how can you blame Hip-Hop? Words are not physical right? Yes, but they do cause you to act and help you to make decisions. If some one calls you a ‘bitch’ or ‘fagget’ your going to get mad, no matter if you hit them, yell back, or walk away, words hurt you. Songs make you wanna get a gun, dance, sing along, get high, drive nice cars, and all that. But you still can not blame Hip-Hop. Then you must blame Rock, Jazz, R&B, Pop, & every single genre and artist ever. Tha words will affect you and make you think how you do, but its still up to you what you do. God gave us freewill and freedom. People need to find themselves deeply and think before they react. You need to know your thoughts and views on things. You need to know right from wrong and make your own decisions. You can’t blame music or artists. They are doing what they do to express themselves and entertain you, not cause you to do something bad. So for people to blame music is fucked up. Yea music is evil in some ways, but everything in life is evil, even church, school, & government. So blame all of them to if you blame music. To summarize, there is alot of shit going around in Hip-Hop like always. Theres beef, controversy, hate, and blame. Just make sure to make your own choices, don’t blame tha game. Support real artists and real Hip-Hop..
